The Introduction to Emergency Management course provides participants with an overview of the emergency management roles and responsibilities of relevant Government and community agencies in NSW. The course also familiarises participants with the general concepts and structure of emergency management under the NSW emergency management arrangements.
The Emergency Operation Centre Concepts course covers the activities to support an emergency operation centre.
This course covers EOC functions, roles of staff, EOC standard operation procedures, applying the procedures and closing the EOC.
The Evacuation Management course will enable participants to contribute to the selection, planning, implementation and management of evacuation as a risk treatment strategy within an affected community.
The Managing Emergencies course is designed to assist emergency managers from all agencies to understand what is required to effectively manage emergencies.
